Please note, that where necessary these chair frames have been fully repaired.   All show wood has been sympathetically cleaned, revived or refinished, though may still show some signs of wear which will be in keeping with their age.  Any significant wear or markings will be described.

LITTLE CHAIRS

These little chairs are handmade by Animals of the Misty Wood.  They are upholstered using modern upholstery materials like elasticated webbing and foam. Chair frames are solidly constructed from quality birch plywood and turned beech legs with a beeswax finish. Delightfully, no animals were harmed in the making of these chairs.

These chairs are MADE TO ORDER.  Lead times will vary from about 6 to 8 weeks from when your order is confirmed. However, this may change depending on how busy we are at the time of your order.  If you have any questions or would like to order a chair, please get in touch

3. delivery

DELIVERY

Prices shown exclude delivery.  A quote for delivery will depend on your delivery address.

MISTY WOOD is based in South London.  If you prefer, you are welcome to send your own courier to collect.

PAYMENTS

Payments can be made by BACS / bank transfer or cheque.   Confirmed orders for handmade chairs by ANIMALS OF THE MISTY WOOD require 50% deposit of the total price to be paid by BACS / bank transfer or cheque. The remaining 50% is payable on completion of the piece.

We will contact you on completion of your chair and ship your order immediately on receipt of your final payment.

We hope you’ll never need to return an item but if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us straight away and we’ll do our best to sort out any problems.

6. RETURNS

RETURNS

Please note, this is a brief outline of our Returns & Refund policy.  When you get in touch with an enquiry or to consider buying an item, we’ll be able to chat with you about your particular chair or order. Before placing an order, we will send you the full Return & Refund policy which sets out the process step by step in more detail.

7. COOLING-OFF PERIOD

Cooling off period

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you have a ‘cooling-off period’ of 14 days of having received the item within which you can return the item, and we’ll refund the full cost of the item minus shipping costs.

Firstly, please email Misty Wood Chairs or call 07957 221 017 to let us know about your return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same, re-saleable condition that you received it.  It must also be re-packed properly in the original packaging with enclosed documents.   We also need a receipt or proof of purchase.

Shipping

Return shipping costs and insurance are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Faulty items

As our chairs are handcrafted, made to order or vintage, there may be slight variations and imperfections in some of them. We believe this is one of the beautiful things about owning a handmade item.

However, if your chair arrives and is genuinely faulty or damaged, please let us know straight away. You have the right to a refund if you return a faulty item within 30 days of having received it.  We will also refund you the return shipping costs.

Sale Items

There are no refunds on sale items.
